  • 5 years full time paid professional experience, Scheduling for an owner or General Contractor, working on public works projects
  • Responsible for developing and managing program schedules for various construction projects, emphasizing relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints. They actively monitor and participate in project scheduling matters, ensuring the application of best practices and standards. Additionally, the role involves obtaining accurate and timely updates from project teams, conducting quality assurance and quality control on the received information, and creating conceptual what-if schedules for diverse projects. The individual performs Critical Path and Earned Value analyses, as well as prepares ad-hoc reports and analyses directed by management.

 

 

Lead Project Cost Estimator

  • 15 years full time paid professional experience, including three years in a supervisory capacity.
  • The position entails leading and supervising a team of Estimators, overseeing the preparation of construction cost estimates, and managing various tasks related to securing grants, checking architects' estimates, and negotiating agreements. The role involves analyzing bids, change orders, and contractor claims, establishing budgets, and maintaining project approval procedures. The ideal candidate, with a minimum of 15 years of experience, including three years in supervision, should possess extensive knowledge in cost estimation for complex school building projects, quick estimate preparation skills, and effective communication abilities. Additionally, expertise in current construction costs and experience in developing and estimating change order scopes are essential.

 

 

Project Cost Estimator

  • 7 years full time paid professional experience in construction cost estimating of public construction projects.
  • The individual is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for school building projects, both preliminary and final, to facilitate negotiation positions with designers, contractors, and Owner Authorized Representatives. This includes generating comprehensive change order estimates, providing support in price negotiations, conducting analyses for claims, and reviewing contractor claims and proposals for validity. Additionally, the role involves creating detailed construction cost estimates based on drawings and specifications, and performing any related assigned duties.
